What is your job title at CUSI? Technical Support Representative
Summarize your responsibilities at CUSI. I assist, train, teach and advise our customers in the best use of our billing software on a day to day basis. I fix problems and customize various items, as needed.
What is your educational background? A.A.S. Information System Technologies from Arkansas State University in Mountain Home, AR
What is your favorite part about your job at CUSI? I love having teachable moments with a client. When a customer is trying to work through a problem and the problem presents itself in a way that allows me to teach something lasting, I love knowing I taught them something that will help with their efficiency in their daily work processes. I enjoy the “AH-HA” moments.
How do you create value for our customers at CUSI? I worked for a utility company and a power plant, which gives me a unique view amongst my peers. My experience with field services for water, sewer and electric utilities allows me an opportunity to relate to our customers and often times understand where they are coming from more clearly than others would.
What are your favorite hobbies you enjoy outside of work? I ride my Harley whenever and wherever I can. I love to take my kids to the lake on tubes and skis. I also enjoy fishing, growing veggies and flowers. When the weather forces me inside, I like to read sci-fi and play the drums.
